racking into secondary ?

i was just wondering what the benefits of racking into a secondary fermenter has ?
can leaving the beer in the primary for to long ( 2 weeks) produce off flavours ?

nope.. leave in primary..

Ther are lots of reasons for racking but the above isnt among them, 2 weeks is nothing to worry about

yeah thats what i thought i seem to have gotten this off flavour in my last brew . its a taste hard to explain its not horrible just dont like that strange taste..good to know its not from leaving in primary
