Can anyone tell me about rotating racking canes inside conical fermenters?

What kind if fitting is usualy stuck through the side of the cone that holds the racking arm?

Do you normally have to adjust the angle of the racking arm from inside the fermenter, or can you rotate it from outside?

Morning JJ. They are fitted with one of these. http://morebeer.com/product.html?product_id=16711
And one of these. http://www.mashmaster.com.au/store/product...?products_id=87
That way when the beer is ready to rack you can adjust the pressure with the thumb screw and turn the cane so it points up to rack the beer away from the sediment. Personally I stopped doing this ages ago and just dump some yeast from the bottom dump and then rack into kegs. :D
Sorry JJ, I forgot to add, you need one http://www.mashmaster.com.au/store/product...?products_id=88 of these welded to the conical so the whole thing can clamp in place.

Thanks Razz.

The 1st link didn't work for me: can you check it? (http://morebeer.com/product.html?product_id=16711).

You obviously have a conical, may I enquire what size?

JJ.
