I had a small amount of wyeast leftover from a brew that I put in a glass bottle.
Yesterday, I mixed a few tablespoons of DME with boiled water and added the small amount of yeast. Today, I can clearly see the residue on the bottom of the bottle has tripled, but the wort seems to be far too fizzy.
What can I do to keep breeding the yeast instead of accidently killing it off with alcohol?
