Hey, my missus is cooking up a roast in the oven and I am wanting to multitask since im out of caustic and throw my heat excahnge in there to steriliz, Any suggestions how long it will need?

I'm not sure I would put it in the oven... what is it, a stainless plate chiller?
 
Yeah it is a stainless plate chiller, chillout mark3
 
Just cook it for the whole time the roast is in there - put it in there before she pre-heats the oven and leave it in there till it cools down completely. Before you chuck it in, squish little lids of tinfoil over the inlets/outlets - that way it will stay sterile till you want to use it next.

I do mine in the oven all the time, usually just cook the crap out of it on 250+ for an hour or two, that way I'm sure everything is dead.
 
Only had it at 200 for 1.5hrs. Left it in overnight will put tinfoil on it now thats a top idea. Thanks mate
