Similar thing happens down here in Melb. 2 Teams that play off in the AFL grand final have their premiership t-shirts printed in anticipation of winning the flag so they can hit the retail shelves the following morning.

Losing team must turf out an awful lot of t-shirts. :lol:

That one was coined by Groundskeeper Willy in the Simpsons in reference to the French.
