Hey Hunterbrewer,
I'm in Sydney and brew in the garage too.
I've bought myself I large plastic storage bin and an aquarium heater.
Put the fermenter in the bin with the heater stuck on the side of the bin, fill the bin full of water, set the heater to 22deg and youre away.
Aqua One are a good brand of heater. Local pet shop or ebay!!
