just put on a morgans pilsner and it's the first time i have used a different yeast. it was saflager yeast, i know when brewing with a larger yeast it is tobe brewed at around 12-15 deg.but will this make it ferment for longer or is it the normal 7-10 days.... <_<

short answer, yes it is longer fermenting time then an ale however give the book a read above as you'll need to read about Diacetyl Rests.

I have found anywhere from 8 - 14 days fermenting time, depending on the yeast and temperature you ferment at.
