After a morning photographing the historically significant Glebe Estate in Sydney I miraculously happened on the Nag's Head in Glebe where I had heard they had hand pumped beer via the beer engine.
No hand pumps at the bar, the barman informs me that it's only on 'upstairs' at a beer tasting once a month.
Somewhat compensated for by the verrry noice St Peter's Brewery Blonde. Crisp, malty and a big whack of hops not unlike the Staropramen I was drinking the night before. Blonde in colour only. And it was also on tap at a couple of pubs in Newtown, down the road a bit, when I got there.
