We tried as much as possible last night with no joy.
I screamed at the little man on the other end of the phone at Symantec yesterday to the extent that he promised a 'supervisor' would ring me within 24 hours......still waiting.
Do you believe that Symantec suggested that I may incur a fee to have a Symantec Technical person go through the steps to attempt to retrieve this lost data. That's when I lost my cool. Incur a fee.....it's cost me over three hundred dollars for this **** to get rid of important information on my PC.
I think I need a lost data expert.
 
I would stop using that disk so no more is written to it.

Get someone that knows what they are doing and you may be able to recover the lost recipe files.

LD - not sure if u would have noticed my post up there mate, but see if u can try the recovery progs I mentioned - they are pretty easy to use as well - and should get it all back for you. I use em regularly at work and the can find files after deletion - reformat and install of windows, so dont give up completely yet
