I cannot comment on the 601, but something that annoys me about the Micromatic is the choice of low pressure gauge. The PRV is set at 4 Bar, so why the hell would you fit an 8 Bar gauge when you'll never get there? And because the gauge goes up so high, the scale is compressed so much as to make settings difficult - more difficult than they need be.
The Micromatics for the American market have a 60 psi gauge on the low pressure side.
