Hi Folks,
I have recently upgraded from my Crown Urn and built a 70L kettle for BIAB.
As I no longer have my sight glass for volume measurement I now use a steel ruler.
I'm trying to calibrate beersmith for use with the new equipment.
I always do a mash out and then hang the bag while the kettle comes up to boil.
How do you measure preboil volume when the wort has hot break on it?
Should I just boil until it dissipates and then measure?
Thanks again.
