I have been putting together all my equipment to do a partial or even a
AG which leads me to my question what size esky/mash tun would suitable to mash 4kgs of grain. The one i have is a 18 liter rectangler 21cmx29cmsx33cms deep,do you think this will be suitable. Thanks guys appreciate any feed back

An 18l should be fine for 4kg of grain. My mash tun is a 36l cooler and I have mashed over 8kg of grain before. When I was doing partial mashes I would do a couple of kg in a six pack esky. Good luck with it.

Thanks Aaron looking forward to doing the partial let you know how it turns out . There is lots to know and i guess it will take a couple of goes before i get it right, just hope it is all worth it .
