hi all well its saturday(brewday) anyone that has tried the two row lager by malt shovel i am interested to know what you thought of it? i was planning to simply add two cans and teh yeast and away i go. can any1 tell me what its like? if it would benefit from extra hops? and if teh yeast if a lager yeast (as it says on the packet) and if it is better brewing around 12 degrees or @ 18ish as it says on the can?

Definitely add some hops, (hersbrucker would be good) as the malt (well I thought) was too overwhelming for a lager. I found the yeast to be very 'eggy', so aim for the lower end of the scale.
