Long Shot

Had a couple last night at indoor cricket. Not a bad beer, big hit of coffee, touch thin in body but i got good hop bittereness.

anyone else tried?

I've tried it.
I found the thinness of the body dominated my impression of the beer.
Sure the upfront flavour was ok but then the body and the flavour fast faded away...
I wasn't particularly impressed overall.

Yep I liked it, a pleasant change from the other nasties coming out of that brewery and special releases

I liked it a lot. I dunno if I just had low expectations, but first impressions were good. Do agree with the thinness factor, but it was a bit bigger than the JS Malt Runner I think. Well worth trying IMO.

Interesting.... the one I tried was soured up, had overtones of aceto and was totally undrinkable. Right up there with the JS Orchid ale for the most undrinkable beer of the year for me.
