So the local servo sells this stuff and I dont mind it,
its a little bit lemonade and its a little bit lemon, lime, bitters
The label ingredents dont give much away and I want to have some on tap.
So anyone got a recipe or could guess a close one :)

I haven't had thed stuff in years. My mother used to run one of those NewZealand natual ice cream places and they sold it there. I used to drink it all the time.

I seem to recall that paeroa is an extract from a plant that is found only in NZ. Without it it may be dificult to get the taste right.

Cheers
Dave

The old Maori name for the Coromandel Range was "Te Paeroa-o-Toi" which means the long range of Toi (AD 1150). Local Maoris of the Ngati-Tamatera and Ngati-maru tribes trace their descent from the "Arawa" and the "Tainui", two canoes of the fleet (1350).

The Natural water Springs are found there

another kiwi,
Greg is right, no plant, Paeroa is a place name. A nice little farming town at the foot of the Coromandel Ranges/Peninsula.
There is an iconic rather large L&P bottle in the middle of town, a landmark. World famous in New Zealand.
As Greg mentioned, they named the drink after the spring water they originally used to create it, which was from Paeroa.
I'm fairly confident its no longer used ;)

so its just lemon and mineral water? seems more to it than that.
