Sure hope so, washing 1000bottles/year was starting to get me down! Hahahahahaha....cough hahahaha

Holy Crap,

You were doin that many? 1000 bottles x .375ml = 375l divide that by 19l ( kegs ) that's only 20 kegs per year. Divide that by 4 kegs in the fridge at any one time & that's only 5 times you have to sanitise & muck around. What the heck are you gunna do with all that extra spare time?
It's a hell of a lot easier than bottles mate, you won't be disappointed, I guarantee it.
I'm still going to do a few All Grain throughout the year but for some spastic reason I am bottling those batches & will be using those sediment catchers.

Nah mate, that's just so far, hic, THIS year.

I also brew for family, so consumption is bit high, but I worked it out today, as I was washing bottles, that so far this year I've wash 1000plus bottles, I have 360 odd conditioning, and ~240 ready to drink. That's 345ml JS style bottles.... Be nice if I just cut out the bottle washing for my own consumption, but I'm planning to give the other big consumer a kegging setup for his B-day in July, so I can more or less give the bottles away totally, yes I know that there is usually some left over from a batch that's been kegged, but I figure I can live with a couple of 6packs/brew. ;)
