Are you in a zimmer splint?. I'm about a month into rehab for a snapped knee cap. The first 6 weeks in a zimmer splint were the worst ever. Laying around with my leg elevated, hobbling like a duck. In a knee brace now, much better.

Of you are in a splint, clench your quad muscles if not painful and you're allowed to, those muscles waste away to **** all quickly. I've now got a chicken leg haha

Good luck with it mate.
Yeah, zimmer splint for about 2 weeks. Have a list of exercises to do. Quad clenching is right at the top :)

Only 2 weeks? You'll have much less muscle wastage then, that's good!. Make sure you do them, it's boring but hey what else have you got to do haha:)

It might sound strange but if you can get hold of the Hops, Yeast and Water books they are fantastic.
I dont read much, not even a newspaper - they shit me. But I couldnt put down the books, made my brewing a lot better too.

I have read the first 2 but not the water one yet.
hope the knee heals well.

p.s the chive is good.

Second the books, although I myself found Hops much less helpful than I was hoping. Very little talk, advice or shared knowledge about flavor and bitterness utilization. Great on history and types though.

Hey Surly another suggestion would be to jump onto ABC iView and watch "two men in China" - it's John Doyle (AKA Rampaging Roy Slavin') and Prof Tim Flannery going through China talking to locals, and gives a great human scale perspective on what is happening over there. Absolutely fascinating place.

See if you don't find this frustratingly addictive: http://gimmefrictionbaby.com/

Almost everyone gets ZERO on their first go, and breaking double figures usually takes some time! The fact there's no instructions whatsoever adds to the intrigue.

First score = 3.

Not sure if I should be happy or not. Not like I figured a damn thing out to get better than 0.

Guessing Aus will class it as a concealable projectile weapon and ban them.
Bloody fun police.
You can buy them on ebayau for about $100 if worried about customs.

If your device is compatible and you're happy to depart with $7 or 8, download any of the gta series for mobile. GTA 4 has a fairly ridiculous narrative, especially at the beginning but get past the cock measuring and lowrider comps (only one) and there is a huge world, big variety of missions and loads of fun. Easy way to waste time.

Must get hold of their other show " two men in a Tinnie " I only saw one episode thanks for pinging my memory.
Cheers.....spog...

Damn you Carniebrew, that game is infuriating!

If anyone else is looking for mindless distraction, The funny pic sites Uberhumor.com and 9gag.com are worth a look.
Also found a TV streaming site, but you REALLY want to be running an adblocker. I turn mine off for AHB, too many useful ads here :)
