Can anyone identify this infection? I am going to distill the beer I brewed, as flavor not affected, but interested to know if anyone knows the name of this infection.

That is mould.

I would be turfing it as it could be toxic

I'll often distill (I'm licensed) any brews that don't turn out exactly right no point wasting it. But that wasn't my reason for posting.

If it's a mould then it's definitely going down the drain, not worth it.
