I've been a bit of a collector when it comes to hops. When there is a deal too good to pass up I'm in..,.

I just did a hop stocktake.

List of hops is My hops

13.5kg of hops, I had better get brewing. Allowing if I used 100g a week that's nearly 3 years supply.

I have offered some to a local for helping out on my brew gear, but I think it's still a lot of hops. Anyone else go to much hops.

Kev, do you want to sell me some POR? I've recently bought a sack of BB Pils and Xmas BBQ and lawnmowing season approacheth.

Cheers

Yeah I know the feeling. What the Hell does one do with half a kilo of Galena? I could keep the entire Tijuana Soccer Club in Cerveza for a Month  :(

Must be a bundy thing, in a year i amassed 11kg of hops!

Yeah, I've got about 11-12kg here to go with ~160kg of grain. :p

Now that would make a huge IPA

ps. No hops for sale at this moment, it was just a chat about doing a stocktake.

nice collection QldKev,

out of curiousity how much would you use in a 100L BIAB?

Very broad question, it heavily depends on the beer.

For a 100L batch
160g for my Aussie Gold
500g for my MIDAPA ver 2
Epic Pale ale style up to 1kg

WOW guys and I thought I was doing well with my 1kg hersbruker and 200g Sazz.
Still not bad for a first yeat crop.
BTW if anyone has a Galaxy hop rhizome im willing to swap
