Got Some Free Gear

A couple of days ago a friend told me he had some gear I might find handy that they were only going to throw away.

I got 2x 20L Pyrex carboys

a 20L plastic carboy never used and a 50L plastic carboy with extra caps that have barbed inlet and outlet + silicon hoses

1 6L flask with measurements up the side and the other flask has no measurements.

wish I had the fridge space to have all of them fermenting all the time :lol:

Edit: I should mention too that I wasn't trying to sell or give these away, I just had to show and tell someone that wouldn't just look at them and go "And what are they for?"

you know what he was telling me about all the stuff they were tossing and then I found out that they were carboys.
Apparently they were having alot of trouble breaking them in the skip
I pretty much yelled NOOOOOOOOOOOO!

It's worth checking what they have previously been used for. If it's all food based (and not toxic industrial chemicals) you are a lucky man indeed
