I've just been to an auction where a large Wards SS boiler (around 100 Litres) passed in at $100. I expect it will come up again soon.

It has its own gas control and pilot light and a 1.5 - 2 inch outlet with ball valve.

Would this be overkill for your average home brewer?

Sounds like a bargain at $100! Would be perfect for double batches.

EDIT: Was thinking more as a boiler here.
