Being new to HBing, I have been drinking more HB knowledge then HB beer lately. Most of the knowledge has come from this forum; which seems to be one of the few Australian sources of HB info that isn't BS.

But: I'm getting the distinct impression that this group does not have many lady members. Not that it matters, per se, but I thought it might be interesting to know the difference betweent he number of boys vs girls that are actively involved in this forum.

Not sure about this forum, but at my HBS I have about a dozen lady brewers, the rest are blokes.

Funnily enough, there are more blokes than ladies buying flour & breadmixes too!!

There's a simple reason there aren't so many female home brewers:

It's a lot harder for them to grow the beard.
