Round 300mm SS domed false bottom

Has 1/2” SS tube to suit a compression fitting on a pot or esky wall. Or swap to the silicone tubing.

Also have mash recirculation return silicone tubing on a 1/2” SS elbow.

Anyone building a mashtun that could use this?

Pickup North-East Melbourne.

I could probably use this. I want to use it in a variable capacity 300L tank. it doesn't need to be flush with the walls does it?
I'm thinking if I do a ferment on grain, then this could help with draining from near the tap.

probably way too small for a 300l tank.

No it doesnt, but optimally you want it 60-90% of the tank diameter to avoid excessive channeling.

Channeling wont be an issue as I wont be using it in a mash tun whereby I will be recirculating the mash.
Instead, I will be fermenting on the grain to get more flavour out of the eventual bourbon/whiskey. Just need a easy way of filtering out the solids when draining. A bazooka screen could also work maybe...but since this is free.
Will give someone else an opportunity to grab it if they intend to use it for beer, otherwise I will take it.

First in first served, please take it as you said it is still more crafting of beverages. PM sent.
