I might be too young to directly remember the campaign, but I was still floored today to realise that it's apparently just a rehash of "Baseball, hot dogs, apple pies and Chevrolet".

Since I've grown up to know that campaign as part of our 'culture', it really does disturb me to see that it's really just a bad rehash. And makes me mull over how such media-based culture assimilation really is not a new thing.

I really need a hobby. Anyone here know how to brew beer?

I'm absolutely crushed over that one. So much for my campaign to make that jingle the next national anthem. I think I'll have to do some research on that. Ours has a better ring to it anyway.

Like Aaron, I too like the sig.

You don't mean "We are the m@n%f*o%c^s"?

I agree, but then I don't get the earlier cultural reference. It being cultural and all.

I could be wrong but "Working Class Man" is also American.

I'm NOT wrong..."Women in Uniform" wasn't written by the Skyhooks :)

Sh*t, it wasn't even performed well by them
