Hi Guys,

Just purchased a 4 tap kegerator from KegLand and while I appreciated that the tap holders were installed in the font the insulation in it must have been a 4.40pm Friday job.

It was rough as guts, less than half the height of the font and only half way around the font as it was scrunched up behind one of the hoses.

Not good enough,

So I purchase a sheet of 5mm Eva foam from Spotlight and cut it to size so there were no bare staino to be seen when looking down inside.

I then marked the 4 tap holes with a pencil from the outside, removed it and in the shed I found a 29mm hole saw and it was a perfect fit for the white plastic washer that goes inside the font in front of the nut.
I then used the font lid for a template and cut out the lid insulation from the same material.
I was also not happy with the lack of insulation in the two rear gas hose holes, so I drilled an 8mm hole in the one of supplied softdrink caps they use these days.
I then found another hole saw (32mm) and some left over 40mm hi density foam (is very firm to touch, it might be called something else) and cut out 4 plugs of this material. I then fitted two of these in each side of the kegerator and the hole saw drill bit is a perfect size for the gas hose to push through.

Cheers Yt2...
