I have just bought myself 5 60 litres waterc ontainers that look excellent for converting to fermenter's.

I was just wondering how i would go fitting a tap to the base of it and what size hole to drill on the lid to fit the grommet for the airlock and the air lock... I would measure the hole but i think it would be more accurate if someone know the exact size of it...

Nick,

Should be 24.4mm hole for the tap 3/4" BSP thread , dont drill hole in the lid ,I would use glad wrap for the lid see what is going on .

Ps 40 litres in a 60 litre fermenter is difficult to pick up so bend your knees or get one of those $20 sack barrows from Super cheap Auto for moving it around .

Pumpy :)

Nick, when you get them, let us know how they are re: the chlorine ex-contents :)
