Hi all,
My first lager has been fermenting for 15 days now, everything seems to have gone well, I used plenty of rehydrated w34/70, aerated for 30 mins and keep the temp at 9 deg constant. Checked my gravity and its spot on so all is looking good. Just thinking I'll leave it another week in the primary then rack to the keg and crash it to lager for the next few months. Has anyone had any experience with this yeast and thinks a d rest is needed?

Taste it. If it tastes buttery, or has a butterscotch taste, or feels slick/oily on the tongue then do a d rest. Taste again each day to determine when to finish the d rest. (Never brewed a lager, but have experienced diacetyl in a few ales).
