Hey guys,
Thanks again for all your help in my last post just thought I'd let you know how my first brew is going.

It's now been a week since i started fermentingand just took a hydrometre reading for the secod day in a row which was the same as yesterday at 1016.

Is this too high??? I did add some extra malt and maltodextrine instead of using all dextrose could this be why the reading is higher than normal?

I gave it a little taste too and too my surprise didn't taste as bad as I was expecting considering it was fermenting at about 25 degrees, although it was flat and warm so I guess the real test will be once it is carbonated and chilled.

Trent
