Hi Fellas, interest on peoples throught's on filting beer into the keg's, some people do and some don't.I've bought myself a filter to clear up the finished product to make it attactive to drink for all but is it going to alter any of the characteristic of the brew.Any info our tectnics on this matter would be a great help cheer's Beno

I started down that track and gave up. Wasn't worth it.

I rack to a secondary cube and put that in the fridge for a week.
The result chills and settles out the rest of the suspended bits.

Then fill up the keg and as it draws from the bottom any sludge will pull first.
A few beers later and you have clear beer.

So given this is in Kits & Extracts, is it possible to filter ones beer then bulk prime and then bottle?

If so what tips or traps are there to avoid?

Or is it not worth it as I will still get the sediment on the bottom of the bottle regardless?

Sorry to kinda hijack this thread...

Cheers
