Hi new to brewing, just a question regarding my fermantion.. I have attempted to make a cider using costo 23L apple juice and 500g of dextrose. I mixed it all in and put a packet of s04 ontop. Initial gravity was 1056, all was well over the first three days the airlock bubbled along happily and i got a reading on the third day of 1037.. after that it just stopped, airlock stopped bubbling and over the following four days my reading has only moved maybe to 1034. I had the wort at around 17-20deg for the initial part now i tried getting it up around 22deg for the last few days to help get the yeast going again..

Did i need more yeast? Anything I can do, or just wait it out..

Did you also add yeast nutrient?

No i didnt, don't even know what that is
Read this link it explains what it is.
Apple juice doesnt have the necessary nutrients to keep the yeast happy so you need to add some.
When you do it again I suggest you use Mangrove Jacks cider yeast as it has the nutrients added in the pack of yeast .
