I wasn't able to get to the HBS over the weekend, so I have not yet started either version of the brew, but when I do, I will probably make one of them similar to your recipe above.
It keeps everything simple and easy, which I think is best for for my first attempt at this style.
How did your version compare with the original for hop flavour ??.
I have a can of Coopers Blonde and a kilo of wheat malt on the shelf, so I'm thinking of adding about 500gm of amber malt to these, and then following your 3 x 15 gm hop schedule. ( I like some hop flavour and aroma, but I dont want it too overpowering )
