Two bags of my choice Voyager. Same as you actually.
The 3 roller mill machine (updating the 2 roller that has lasted longer than expected and long mileage)

What have you been brewing with those malts Dan, I have ordered 2 bags of Veloria but am interested in another two bags of something different.
I've been using Voyager for a while now. I used 50/50 Compass and Schooner for the Jedi Juice brewed at the Vic Case Swap. Both the test brew and the big brew turned out great. Compass has a bit more rounded maltyness. consider it an alternative to Marris Otter for eg. I wanted a Pilsner type Malt in the Inventory too so the Atlas is that way inclined.
Basically making varying House Ales, Amber Ales. I even made a RIS that is conditioning but young tasting makes me think it worked well and will be great with some aging with Whiskey/Oaking. Its a little more pricey than other choices but I really go for the fresh local factor its great malt IMO. The test will really be when I make some Light Lagers.

Hi all,

We have received several orders to date but not enough yet to fulfill the bulk buy. Looks like the last bulk buy took a while to complete so I may have been a bit optimistic with my goal of having it all done this week.

If I can ask you all to continue to bump this thread we can get more eyes on the bulk buy and should help us finish the order. Don't forget to tell your friends about the bulk buy as well!

With regards to the ETA question. Once I have received all orders I will follow up with each of you with your invoice. When all invoices are paid I can process the order and provide an ETA then.

Instructions for ordering are below:

email [email protected]
subject: Voyager Malt/Malt King Bulk Buy

Include the following:
1. Full Name
2. Complete Address if you are not picking up from Keg King or soreba in Sydney.
3. If you are picking up please specify Keg King or soreba.
4. Phone number is optional, but recommended if you do not check your email often.

Your AHB screen name is not necessary as orders will be received by email only.

Once I have collected all the orders I will follow up with you individually with your invoice for payment.

If you have sent an order and not received a response back from me, then I did not receive your order.

Cheers - Kyle

For those of us not involved in the last bulk buy, could we get a bit more information than soreba in Sydney?

A suburb would be helpful...

Thank you everyone who has placed their orders. We are just over half way to fulfilling the bulk buy. I could use your help in keeping this thread active. Post a recipe or what you have ordered.
Spread the word to your friends about the bulk buy.

Following Danscraftbrewer's advice I bought a bag of the Compass, drinking one brew (shouldn't be really only 6 days in the bottle) and fermenting another. Very happy with the outcome so far, so will be adding a couple of Compass bags to my order.
ESB, excellent intense bitterness from the hops, just as I like it.
Cheers Dan

So, here we are. How are your grains supplies? I haven't checked in there lately and expect the same as everywhere?

I will happily double my order. If everyone else could want to then the order should get filled really quickly.

What say you all?

I'm trying to get my hands on the mill as my two roller is giving me the ***** almightily, so I echo your suggestion!

I had the three roller, sold it to one of our club members, and bought the geared 3 roller surprising the difference it makes to the husk no shredding and an almost full husk. You will definitely see a huge difference.

@kegking I hope your watching. Otherwise I may check in tomorrow and ask the hard question.
I say good bet to buy the crate or whatever needed to fill this order. I'd consider it sold but I am nobody, just watching current events etc.

No need for panic. We are in constant contact with our suppliers and have not received any concerning feedback from them about supply shortages or anything of the like. Current events is looking positive for shipping of goods. We are still at just over half of the pallet to finalize this bulk buy. Keep telling your mates and spreading the word where you can. The sooner we can fill the order the sooner we can get everyone their malt.

Another 20 sacks to go to reach the target, not to much if there are home brewers going to be laid off for a while ideal time to stock up 4 bags equates to one free bag so worth going into the buy.
I did try the 3 roller with the two driven rollers mill at KK, I was skeptical about the better crush than the standard 3 roller with the idler rollers but I agree with Cian it does make a difference. I put it down to the two driven rollers pushing the grain through fairly evenly instead of it being dragged through the idler roller.

All good. I feel lucky I got in today with delayed controlled entry with mandatory metho sraying hands prior to entry when your dealing with newbs and their questions haha. That newb before me spent twice as much as I did but I will make 5 times as much beer with the Voyager Malt and bits that I bought. ;)
Funny times.
I'd like to think that all this calamity sporns more home brewers.
Brew good for what ale's you!
