Editing Forum Posts?

G'day.
For some reason, I can't seem to edit my forum posts by moving the cursor.
If I find a mistake, I have to backspace and delete all the text until I get back to the place, then start again.
I also cant seem to delete, or move highlighted text.
Does everyone have this problem, or is it just me?
Actually, there is no cursor.
Any ideas?

Up there in the right hand side is the options drop down box, make sure you have standard display mode.

next time you reply to a post, click the little 'refresh' icon that I have circled. It should look like the picture after.

It will allow you to do anything you want, maybe even jump tall buildings!!

Can't find the options box, but housecat suggested the refresh button, which seems to have worked.
