My better half asked me why we have so many bottles in the garage taking up space ? I said cuz I dont have any kegs :( ,she said well why dont you get some then.
No time wasted I rushed out and got some . :)

As part of the agreement dumped heaps of longnecks and the crates .
loading up a a heap of crates to take to work ( builders standard chair)

She says dont dump all them crates they are useful for me to sit on when weeding the garden

How do womens minds work ??

This also happened in our household Pumpy.

The kegs are now well loved & in service.

Alas!!! Now there are questions regarding the space that the refrigeration dept is taking up!!!

The hints that there's a need to build an Outside Chiller have not yet registered :D :D

And Yes the gardens are still being weeded here too! ;)

Thats an idea Sparky may have to convince her that we need to build a big shed to put the pool pump in but big enough to hold a the Chiller.

You dont get women Scotty !!!, now let me give you a few tips , Oh!! perhaps not !!

:D :D Hee hee hee

Local Council regs may state pump sheds be a minimum size & have aluminium clad walls for sound proofing, so as not to exceed the noise requirements.

They also may state that the pump is required to be chilled to 4 deg to ensure that additional heat is not released into the atmosphere :D

If I told you what Mrs Sp's answer to those statements would be, I'd be banned from this forum ;)

Nice one Sparky the threat of a council fine may spur her into giving the go ahead to build a Insulated Chilling room come soundproof pump shed .

Your going to get me into trouble

Ken ,

I have only got the basic gear with a couple of kegs , Its taken me a couple of days to work out how to pour a beer without a ten foot head on it ,I am new to kegging and not quite ready for you to flog me , five Ventamatic taps with flow restriction valves with Ice chilled Font. :)

Hi ya GMK

The set up here is close to complete. Have recently upgraded to a Freezer. This can hold 8 kegs ( 3 connected to taps, 3 carbonating ) & there's a little room for conditioning & a space for a pond pump that cools the font with a glycol/water mixture.

Will get some pics posted soon.

Here's the old system

Outgrew this setup fairly quickly, however it got me started.

Cheers
