I have just started to brew my own, I have my fourth batch fermenting now. I decided to try for a batch of 'super beer' with a higher alcohol content for when I need a quick pick me up. I used a 1kg tin of liquid brewing sugar and thyen added 1kg of dextrose sugar. Is this likely to cause me any problems? I've heard that sometimes there can be too much sugar for the yeast to ferment. any advice greatly appreciated.
