Got infection in sanitized OJ bottles where i store mixed ingredients - was tipped in fermenters
Pls help I have used these bottles over several extract kits, never bothered to have a wiff of one, they were always sanitized. The kegged beer has sour off flavour that is same as the off-fruit smell in the OJ bottles. I was storing Dry Light Malt and Dextrose mixed with water so as to get it down to temp ready to mix in before pitching yeast. Not really necessary and wont be doing it like that again but I need to know plan of attack can i clean the fermenters etc? What about the kegs and beer lines?
