Do You Drink Your Hydrometer Sample?

i allways drink my samples. i you dont how are you to know if there is a potential problem with the beer otherwise. if i didnt taste the stout i did recently then i could have wasted the time and effort on bottling a dud batch. thats my excuse any way and im sticking to it.

I used to taste it when I took a reading but got too obsessed and took to many reading and wasted to much beer. Now I just rack to a secondary and wait a few weeks to ensure it has fermented out. I haven't had a bad beer yet so I would rather wait and enjoy the finished product then drink a bottle full in samples.
