Yes but maybe sometimes ever all can do why.

Back to the OP's Q. Yes, AFAIK Dex is preferentially eaten first by yeasties becasue it requires no modification. All the Cs and Hs and Os are split into CO2s and CH3CH2OHs straight away. Other longer sugars need to be split into dextrose before being eaten.

Like at the buffet, the prawns go first. That said, 10 degrees C might be a bit sleepy for your yeast - give it a swirl and bump it up to 12C. That might wake them up.
