Crown urn BIAB issue

Off to do the shopping tonight, citric acid definitely on the list.
I've not had any build up yet, probably still a bit to green, but I note the mention of removing the false bottom for the boil, something I've never done but will try next. Cheers fellas!

This thread has also reminded me that I need to get some more citric acid soon. I can't even remember when I bought the last lot, it was 4kg worth off eBay. Probably still got about 500g or so left since I only started using it to clean after every batch in the last year or so. Dad put me onto it as they used it to clean boil scale off boilers in the lab he worked in years ago, and it's bloody good for it.
