Needing to source 4 more kegs for my wedding.
Who has the best prices around at present?

Connor brewware has them for $60 plus shipping, works out to $74 each.
Hop and grain in erko has them at $75 each.
Dave doesn't seem to have any listed on his site anymore. :-\

Anyone around have any good sources available?

Dave sells reconditioned ones for around $110 as far as I remember. I was in there yesterday and he had some.

I bought mine from esbrewing / thebrewshop over in Peakhurst. They were $75 or $80 from memory with all new seals etc but i'm not sure what they go for now.

Personally, the prices you've been quoted is about as good as you're going to get if i'm honest. You can shop around all you like but you likely won't save any more money.

Perhaps try on ebay or gumtree and find someone selling their own.

I bought mine a few months ago in ebay from a guy in Victoria. "Homebrewing is fun" or something like that. They were $100 for a pair with $50 shipping to Sydney. Free shipping on the second pair if you got 4 ($250 for 4 shipped = $62.50 each). Only had the auto pressure relief valve, so I ended up replacing the kids for another $20 each.

Bloody autocorrect I'll bet.
Texted a lady mate, not SWMBO, "see you at the meeting if you're around"
As I hit send I noticed "...if you're aroused"

She smiled

Some of my best cornies are stamped MADE IN WEST GERMANY.
Says it all really.

Eventually the price of new Corny clones will intersect with price of reconditioned. Ross has surprisingly good prices on the new 19L.

ESB in Peakhurst has brand new Italian made AEB at about $120 each for the 19L and about $105 for the 9L
Give them a call and dont quote me. I was in there last week and asked. I remember thinking they were about double a second hand one.
ESB are always very competetive price wise. Only place cheaper for hops I've found is Southern Highlands Homebrew. Kegs, no, hops and grain, yes!
No affiliation to either shop.

I'm guessing the 2nd hand kegs from H&G for $75 will be pin locks, as that's a lot less than other retailers sell 2nd hand ball locks for in Sydney from what I've seen ($90+ seemed to be the norm when I was looking just before Christmas). ESB were the best mix of price and quality as the 2nd hand ball-locks they sell for $95 are reconditioned

CheekyPeak are excellent, but their 2nd hand kegs ($60) are pin locks. They do sell the brand new Keg King kegs for $110 which is $10 less than just about anywhere else and only $15 more than 2nd hand kegs elsewhere and come with a 5 year warranty

Personally I'm slightly wary now of buying 2nd hand kegs sight unseen; the condition of some I've seen recently has been pretty poor with welds and obvious dings and dents to the mouth of the keg.

H&G's kegs are ball lock but no pressure release.
That's where I picked up my last ones. And I too replaced the kids.
