G'day guys does anyone know what hops are in the pale ale can coopers?? Do they put in flavour and aroma or just bittering?

Ok cool I was just thinking about pimping a can. I've got 100g each of citra and galaxy. And about 50g each of centennial and cascade..... Any ideas?

I'd go 20g of Galaxy, boil for around 20 mins in some of the wort and tip the whole lot into the fermenter.

Your a bad man Bribie

When I was doing kits my staple brew was a can of Coopers Pale with cascade hops and 400 grams of pale crystal malt - I changed to a can of real ale after awhile but the pale ale still made a very nice drop

Check out the fruit salad ale recipe on the coopers website. My mates love it. I used 1.5kg ldme and a us05 yeast. I'm going to try dry hopping it this time round

The Fruit Salad Ale is a ripper however you may need to heat your fermenter at this time of year to get up to 24 degrees as recommended.

Either way, Coopers tins & Cascade go together like cheese & crackers. You'll even get a kick from a 30g dry hop on day 3.

Can someone post that hop chart for him. It's the round one. May help u bit more

APA can + 1kg DME.
Boil 500g DME in 5 litres of water.
Chuck in 25 gram of whatever hop you have there and boil for 10 minutes.
Turn the heat off. Chuck in another 25g of the same hop.
Cool.
Mix with the rest.
Ferment.

Yes it is PoR purely for bittering, and not much bittering either.
