Guys,

Where I have my fermenters setup the temp is on average a few degrees cooler than the ambient temp. On hot days I throw a couple of milk and juice containers with frozen water in them to keep things cool. My question is do you guys know of anything I can add to the liquid in the bottles before I freeze them to prolong the cooling action. What are the additives in those ice packs you buy? Would adding salt to the solution make any difference ?

Cheers,
Doc

Hanging out for scoring an air-conditioning unit or a big fridge for my shed :)

I use salt - would be good to know what's in those freezer bricks.

cheers
