Hi guys, I do a apple cider also apple n pear mix of late the 2 blend is not as gaseous as straight apple? Both are equal amount as is sugar, any helpful hints appreciated.

Welcome aboard

How are you "priming" your bottles (i assume)

Pear juice has some extra unfermentables in it which can change the way it feels in your mouth and how it reacts with the yeast

On priming of the bottle, my mixture is added to the brew prior, its a old recipe just made in a bucket, bloody tastes nice I have only started to mix in pear as a different taste? But as you day the fermentation of pear could be the thing. Thanks Mutaneer
