Depending on Bitter & Twiested, I count the total as close to 50kg, which is 2 bags.

Happy to leave it open if others are interested, but we do need to total to end at or close to a multiple of 25kg.
So unless we get another 25kg worth of interest anything more from here will be 'backup' if others drop out.

...The supplier is Hucon in Bayswater and as per the info here: http://www.brewiki.org/CleaningAndSanitation most likely it's coated which means it will take a short while to disolve, but it stores much more easily.

Some of the links in the above (excellent) article are dead.

This one has some good information on coated vs uncoated, the addition of a surfactant, as well as recipes for various applications (mild bleach, concentrated bleach, soaker, carpet cleaner etc. Interesting to see what goes into the napi san. http://www.wlchem.com/template/e-zc1.htm

Does anyone know anything about 'nonionic surfactants' and where we might get some from? I wonder whether a little common dishwashing detergent might do the job?

It's all been split into 5kg or 2.5kg bags and I've sent everyone in the list a PM about pickup, either here in Berwick anytime you can make it or at Chadstone on Sat about 1pm.
Correct change when you pickup - either $10 for 2.5kg or $20 for 5kg - would be very helpful since I'm not usually one for using cash.

crash69 and shimple, B&T wants another 2.5kg if someone does not pick theirs up, however, I'll keep you both in mind if more than one person can't make their pickup.

Unterberg as you can see in the photo above, there is a company name/address in Minto/Sydney printed on the bulk-bags, so you could most likely source your own easily.
