a few questions im to late for this order but.
each unit is a 25kg bag correct?
how much beer will a 25kg bag make (i know its only an ingredent lets say for 100% large style beer)
will i need to mill this my self.
how much could grain could i fit into a standard fermentor (for storage)
how long will it last?
can i make a silica gel breather for it to make it last longer

If any one is doing a order in 2-3months ill grap a good $500 worth

1. Yes, each sack is 25kg
2. How long is a piece of string? For a standard 5% brew, at around 70% efficiency, you'r looking at about 5 brews per bag... approximately.
3. Yes
4. We have chocolate, strawberry and vanilla (I don't know).
5. a year at least
6. See 4.

Thanks Sqyre and also Ross again for the BB. Without your assistance (and good looks) we'd be doing it real tough.

Awesome work! :super:

Hey Gros21,
hopefully we will be doing another Bulkbuy in approx 3 months.
Just so you are aware the terms of the Bulk buy are local pickup only, no postage, no shipping.
( i also believe its suposed to be restricted to brisbane but we have included our Sunny coast Brewerhood members as well.)

I'm not sure what your experiance is with All-grain brewing but if you dont have a mill, and you dont have your Brewery setup ready to go- tried and tested. There isn't much point buying $500 worth of grain.
Better off starting off small and once you have your system down pat, plan your grain bill around your future recipies.

Sqyre.. ;)

(Too busy looking after everyone elses, didnt check mine properly. )
I thought Renae did it and she thought i did it. So i've just popped another bag into the spreadsheet.

Oky doky,
i spoke to Ross earlier and the Grain should be Here to Pickup this Saturday morning from the Shop. :super:
Due to the grain being at the shop, we will be restricted for collection during open hours which will be 8am to 1pm sharp.

I will take the scales again and weigh up the splits in order of preference of who is there at the time.
if you dont need yours split let me know as there are a few more splits to do this time and i'd rather not do some if i dont have to.
I will be there 8am sharp.. ;)

Brucey.... :D

Bruce,

I'll be there at 8 sharp to give you a hand with the splits.

Cheers

Due to it being too far for me to travel to the shop (~300m) :icon_drool2: I will have to work pretty hard to be there to give you a hand with the splits Bruce  .

Also we are going to need some empty grain bags (about 15 or so) if anyone has any lying around they dont need can they bring them along on saturday morning.

Cheers Sqyre. :icon_cheers:
