Many thanks Bruce for the organisation, Ross for the venue and hospitality as usual. Also to Tony and Bruce and others for organising the splits, Sean and Brett for the help in loading and company on the trip, this was one smooth bulk buy pickup.

Batz, JoeG and Bindi your grain is here when you're ready to collect. Batz, maybe you and JoeG from Noosa could organise one pickup.

It was too easy guys... :D
I too should thank Ross for his hospitality and ordering /storing of the grain.. Not to mention the tasty samplers we had after..

Jlm - i,m glad you found the split bags(i meant to leave a note )
After we finished off splitting up the grain for the guys who were there we relised yours was the only ones left so Mossy and i just quickly split it for ya.

Cheers to Tony for the bag tieing...
and Thanks for your assistance too mossy. (your sack handling skills are second to none. :p )

Seeing how well that all went...
I am going to try and plan for a Bulk Buy every 3 months at set times..
that way everyone can plan to order for 3 months worth of grain, knowing that another bulk buy will be coming up on said date.

I think we could look at the next one set for delivery at around the 1st of September,
then next will be the 1st of December,
then the 1st of Febuary.
This will hopefully jump the money hungry Xmas period... ;)

If no-one has any objections to the dates, i will put the dates and reminders into the AHB Calendar.

Cheers,
Sqyre... ;)

Thanks again Ross and thanks to Sqyre and others who did up the splits.

I'm keen on the 3 monthly bulk buy idea Sqyre, not that i'll need any more grain in 3 months now i've got 150kgs sitting there. Well, I hope not.

Your not a real brewer until you get to share warm uncarbonated beer just racked from the fermenter, I gained an appreciation for beer served in this way from InCider  Bindi's tasted good, but was probably around 27%ABV

Sad to say my stock levels are getting down (don't tell her-in-doors),

BB Ale - 20gm
MO Ale - 100gm
BB Pils - 15kg
BB Wheat - 15kg.

It'll either be bulk production of hefe's for the near future or I'll have to buy some more base grain soon. Anyone else getting low??
