seemax Well-Known Member Joined 9/4/08 Messages 1,199 Reaction score 5 5/2/09 #3 US-05 at 16C will produce a very clean ale, no fruity / estery notes. It will highlight the hops rather than the malt. I've used Nottingham at 13C and it comes close to producing a lager.
