One of the things that really pisses me off is paying top dollar for some exotic beer that I’d like to try only to have it poured into a filthy glass that kills it before it’s even hit the top !
I’ve been very vocal about it at local bars especially when it’s in their own interests to have the right equipment and products.

When I worked behind a bar I used to use their cleaner which I think was TSP.

What do you use at home and what’s your glass cleaning routine?

Most of the time they just get a soak in hot perc overnight, then rinsed with hot water and air dried the following day. Occasionally I'll wash them in detergent and rinse thoroughly. I know what you mean though, with the bubbles all stuck to the sides of the glass. It happens at home if SWMBO "washes" them. Never see it with my usual cleaning routine.

Sodium perc hot as hell then phosphoric from the spray bottle followed by a rinse.
Works, not sure if it’s necessary but it’s habit now so won’t change

dishwasher only. never use the brush or dish clothe it leaves grease residue.

and the important part - MUST RINSE after coming out of the dishwasher and left to dry

If you dont rinse, the head is non existent for the beer.
