Tried a Badger Fursty Ferret yesterday and was quietly impressed. While I don't think its a show stopper I enjoyed the dry crispness it has. This is something I have struggled to get with my ales. I suspect it also had something to do with the hops used.
It lacked a bit of character but was crisp, dry and maybe a slight spicyness. I would like to make a clone of this then work on adding a little more hop character once I get it nailed.
Any ideas on where to start. Hop type? Yeast?
I'm thinking 1026 Britsh Cask yeast would be good but its not availlable at present.
Cheers
