Hopefully i'm still on for this Sat, otherwise will have to organise something else as keen to learn more about brewing and seeing we do it best here in Perth!!! I'm in luck?? ;)

Cheers

If you make it tommorow you are in luck to meet some very good brewers (me not included).

So far think the plan is:

12.00pm - Little Creatures
Sail and Anchor
Clancy's mmmmm hop hog!

Is this set in concrete now? :)

If so, I'll get to LC at noon. Looks like I can get a lift there afterall, though I've been told to catch the train home :(

YES.... I know Ill be there then and pretty sure Nev will be too! It was his idea but we were going to start at Clancys... but would rather finish at Clancy's now... closer to the train station for you guys. So 12.00 at Creatures. Pretty sure will get a table on the water side at noon...

As long as you don't stop at the Orient for a roady on the way through! Wish I could have come along to meet and drink.

Heading down now around 2ish, will give Kook or Patch a call to see where you're all at!

A great day was had by some local brewers that started at Little creatures then moved on to Sail and Anchor then finished off at Clancys where we all got together and tasted some very fine and very out there tastes from a Melb brewer? Awesome!
I met some amazing people with amazing stories so i thank all the people that came along and i look forward to meeting you again soon and seeing some setups?

Thanks again,

Cheers

Methinks that Liam's personality and thirst for knowledge will make him a real asset to the brewing community.

Great to see gryphon, kook, sinkas, brendanos, greg and the instigators of this event - katie and lloyd again.

There were more than this but I can't remember their names...

As always, top arvo/evening/night. Katie and others will follow with pics.

Spot,
Patch

PS. Had lots of conversations about calibration - love it!!!

Mmmm days off and i missed this thread.
Nevermind maybe next time and i will get it all together.
You looked miles away in the photo Pat.Beer dreaming i guess.

Cheers

Katie even managed to squeeze in a lie down and a rest while we were all still drinking, and Pat helped Nev devise a surefast method of avoiding pickpockets on the train.

Nice to meet you Lloyd, Katie, Liam, Greg et al, and good to see you again everyone else!

Les' Berlinerweiss was a real treat! Great to try a Gose too, even if I wasn't quite prepared for that much salt...

Ha.... apparently I had a fantastic time...

Don't tell me I poured beer over you? At least if it is at your place you won't suggest that I sober up or hide bottles in the bushes! How rude!

No the beer shower was accidental I think.Me suggest you sober up, I must have been pissed at the time  My mate Greg did a face plant as we left the pub and ended up in hospital for the night.Hes ok but has a few stitches in his nose and not looking to good.

You didnt tell me to sober up.... the bartender did! OMG so I was not the only one that fell over, Im so good at going backwards! I hope he is okay! See you both should of stayed. We ended up continueing on back at Edz sportz bar of all places. Im still hazy! Lloyd told me I had a great time! LOL!

Ok I glad you cleared that up! Me rude , what next  I waited for the ambulance to pick up Greg, there was blood ever where. The guys (barman) at the pub were real good and looked after him well till the ambo's arrived. I then headed back inside, but you were all gone.I was back at home by 7.30pm.

A short one as I have to go out for dinner...

Glad I left when I did - I mean who likes hanging around for ambos?

BigD - really sorry you didn't see this one. I'll keep you posted from now on. I think sinkas (opposite me) was doing some sleight of hand and I was just keeping a close eye on him.

Top photo Katie but no names - WTF?

I wonder if they have fixed that missing plank on the table yet? Hope nit because I got a free beer from that and Nev didn't get pick-pocketed eh Brendo?

And last but not least, we had Les the Weizguy's beers!!! I was very impressed at how clean they were especially after, what is it Les, three years??? As Les well knows, I have zero comprehension of these two so it was great to have some real experts there.

What did you experts reckon. We've heard from brendo but what about you guys - kook, sinkas and Nev?

Spot!
